Faith Conversations

Why is ‘trusting’ in God so vehemently important to Him?? Maybe because it’s based in us understanding and believing in His essential character of faithfulness? Maybe that’s why it seems so essential to Him that we not just assent to knowing Him, but ‘know’ Him - ‘His character’ to the point where we are willing to lay it all on the line for Him, and THAT does not come over night.

Because maybe bottom line is... there is no other way to get to that point. Maybe that’s where the waiting comes in… true faith is created out of hard arsed experience.

Man been a shocker lately with updating this. Got a new baby, so time difficult to find. Been reading a book called 'Bono on Bono' a mate lent me. Real good. for anyone keen on getting a handle on how that guy thinks, particularly spiritually, God etc, it's a must read. Really opens your eyes to where he's been coming from over the last few years.
